What flooring is trending in 2022?

Are you ready to renovate?
Preparing to overhaul your old and tired flooring?

Home Renovations have risen in the last 2 years and this
year will be no different.
Get the scoop on the hottest flooring trends for 2022.

Flooring trend colours will largely remain the same in 2022, with cool, neutral tones such as greys and whites still standing tall with the addition of some heavy, dark tones.
Long gone are the warm and country style trends,
and we are now seeing slightly darker, moodier colour palettes with plenty of chocolates & walnuts.

Some flooring will make a home feel cool and modern, while other colours will have a warm and traditional effect. Ensure when your choosing the right colour of flooring you are considering wall colour and furniture styles at the same time.

Vinyl flooring is almost indistinguishable from natural timber or stone and by choosing the right pattern for your home- this can dramatically change the entire
look of the whole house. Detailed arrangements like Herringbone and Chevron remain strong contenders for most popular and whilst the cutting can be time consuming and it can be difficult to lay, by using vinyl planks (in comparison to hard to cut natural timber) you can easily create the intricate patterns of herringbone or chevron, making for a very happy floor layer!

Gone are the days of unrestrained consumption- people are all too aware that the choices they make on long term investments and how it can affect the environment. Shoppers have started looking for sustainable options and eco-friendly alternatives that have a lesser impact on the environment, and this is no exception for the flooring industry.

With that in mind, its no doubt that natural looks are without a
doubt the biggest trend going into 2022.
Keep an eye out for natural stone-look flooring and natural toned LVT planks.

Most Polyflor LVT ranges are 100% recyclable and many of the floor coverings contain up to 40% recycled content. Whilst choosing Environmentally Preferable Flooring from Polyflor, it is also important to be assured that this means zero compromise in choice and the function of the product.
