Located in Claremont, Perth’s premium retail precinct, Furniture Gallery’s new flagship store sets a benchmark for boutique furniture presentation. The 2025 fit-out artfully combines architectural detail with functional retail planning. Expona Commercial Oiled Oak 4098 was selected for its authentic timber aesthetic, versatile colour tone, and reliability. Key factors in meeting the design team’s vision for a warm, inviting backdrop that complements a wide variety of furniture styles.
Installed in a herringbone pattern, the flooring enhances circulation and introduces a sense of craftsmanship throughout the space. The store features a sculptural curved membrane ceiling above reception, a signature planter wall with signage, and thoughtfully designed transitions between bright natural zones and darker, mood-specific areas. Curves and arches soften the journey, while raised display platforms create focal moments for featured pieces.
