Silica Reinforcing Fibres
Description
Increases tensile and flexural strengths are as well as the shear and tensile adhesion of the Servoplan Ki 1 and Servofix F 210 self levelling compounds. The reinforcing fibers are easy to mix, and blend well with self levelling compound, providing a homogenous, three dimensional reinforced surface The addition of the reinforced fibers helps minimizing cracking of self levelling compounds on unstable, critical substrates and increases safety on technically difficult substrates.

The substrate must be dry, clean and sound. Mechanically remove any oil based or loose products. The existing substrates be prepared as per AS1884 and meet the requirements for moisture control and Planeness, Smoothness and Abrupt Surface Deviation. Levelling compounds may be part of the solution to achieve these requirements. When in doubt contact Polyflor Technical Department on 1800 777 425.
- Processing
Mix the above mentioned self levelling compounds according to the technical specifications to homogenous consistency. Add fibers immediately to the mix and remix it. After recommended slake time, remix it again and then pour self levelling compound in a designated are using professional spreaders or flat trowel to move the self levelling compound around.
