Servoplan Ki 1
Description
Cement bonded, acrylic polymer enhanced, fast drying, self curing, self-leveling compound for leveling subfloors up to 20 mm layer thickness in one pour. Servoplan Ki 1 is suitable as a subfloor for installation of: ceramic, natural stone, textile, resilient and parquet/hardwood floor coverings. For dry interior areas, Servoplan Ki 1 can be used in the living areas as directly usable floor.
To increase the tensile and flexural strength add Kiesel reinforcing fibers. Kiesel Silica Reinforcing Fibres must be added for timber substrates or where substrate movement is anticipated. Fibres should be added when applying Servoplan Ki 1 over Alumino-Silicate Glass Fibre Reinforcing Mesh and Okapox GF. Minimum 3mm coverage when using water based adhesives.

- Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and sound. Mechanically remove any oil based or loose products. The existing substrates be prepared as per AS1884 and meet the requirements for moisture control and Planeness, Smoothness and Abrupt Surface Deviation. Levelling compounds may be part of the solution to achieve these requirements. When in doubt contact Polyflor Technical Department on 1800 777 425.
- Processing
Mix Servoplan Ki 1 with clean, cool water using an electric mixer at a max of 600 RPM until free of clumps. After approx. 5 minutes slake time, remix again. Then, pour and immediately apply the compound with a smoothing trowel or rake and leave to level.
For layer thickness over 10 mm, Servoplan Ki 1 can be stretched with silica sand (0.6 - 1.2 mm grain size). Re-leveling may be done if necessary, wet-on-wet according to accessibility, otherwise prime again (wait minimum 12 hours) with Okatmos® UG 30 or Okatmos® DSG. During drying avoid direct sunlight and drafts. If reinforcing fibers are required, add one bag of reinforcement fibers to the previously mixed self leveling compound and mix until a homogeneous mixture is achieved. Let it slake and remix it again pouring self-leveling compound immediately and spreading it with a flat trowel
