ResiLoop

What is ResiLoop?

ResiLoop is Australia’s first national product stewardship scheme for resilient flooring and is an industry driven initiative by the Australian Resilient Flooring Association (ARFA).

With the help of Australian Government funding and industry investment (including that of Polyflor), ResiLoop has been established to tackle this, with an estimated 60,000 tonnes of flooring waste generated from installation and end-of-use each year – that’s enough to cover 2,126 rugby union pitches.

ResiLoop aims to address this waste issue of resilient floor coverings and focus on research and development of recycling solutions.  Launched in 2024, this scheme will help achieve circularity in Australia’s flooring sector.

Polyflor & The Circular Economy

ResiLoop focuses on tackling installation waste, which includes offcuts and unused resilient flooring. Reusing or recycling the uplifted post-consumer flooring waste will be the ultimate target for a true circular economy.

As a leading manufacturer with sustainability at the heart of its operations, Polyflor is proud to be a founding member of ResiLoop and committed to sustainability and circularity. By supporting this nation-wide scheme and bringing it to realisation, Polyflor is taking action against the flooring industry’s waste.

At Polyflor, we believe that our participation in ResiLoop will significantly contribute to a more sustainable future and provide our customers with products that are not only high-quality but also environmentally responsible.
