The Brainy Bunch, a paediatrician clinic in Norman Park, Queensland, shows how the right flooring can shape the experience of a healthcare space as much as its colour palette or layout. Specified by Dentifit Australia, MiPlank Acoustic Grey Gum was selected to underpin the clinic’s warm, welcoming interior with a floor that performs as hard as it looks.
Its natural timber-look finish complements the space’s soft, teal-toned walls and curved joinery, while its acoustic properties work to dampen sound and footfall noise, a critical consideration in a clinic built around young patients who can be easily unsettled by busy, echoing environments.
By reducing noise underfoot, MiPlank Acoustic Grey Gum helps create a calmer, more comfortable clinic experience from the ground up. The result is a paediatric space that feels considered in every detail, combining the natural beauty of timber with the acoustic performance families and clinicians alike will notice.
