The Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre redevelopment in Bomaderry, NSW, has transformed a vital community hub into a vibrant, multi-use facility designed to support local sport, events, and social connection. The project retained and refurbished the original building while expanding its capabilities to include four new multi-purpose courts, tiered spectator seating, upgraded change rooms, administrative offices, and flexible event spaces.

Polyflor’s Expona Flow PUR was chosen for the fit-out of key communal areas, including the café, kiosk, and administrative zone, where durability, ease of maintenance, and visual energy were essential. Bold colour selections such as Burnt Orange and Warm Concrete bring movement and energy to the interiors, helping to define zones and encourage engagement.

The flooring not only enhances the overall aesthetic but also supports the building’s practical needs, delivering resilience under high foot traffic and ensuring long-term performance. In spaces where function meets community interaction, Polyflor plays a key role in setting the tone for a welcoming and inclusive environment.

The Shoalhaven Indoor Sports Centre is a shining example of how design-driven material choices can uplift public spaces and support growing communities.
